I woke up to news of a 'No Confidence Motion' presented by the Democratic Alliance on the morning of Nov 8 last year. The purpose of the day was to of course, discuss President Zuma, however, i couldn't help but note the tone of sincerity in parliament that day and not the usual Orangutan antics these sessions are known for. DA leader, Mmusi Maimane pleaded with the conscience of the ANC to simply, "stop defending the man". Only to be bombarded by race bashes, being called a 'black face for a white party'. The ANC, unimpressively dodged bullets from struggle stalwarts with some of the most nonchalant responses - it was not surprising to me at all. Probably one of my favourite speeches of the session came from IFP leader, Mangosuthu Buthelezi, he said: “The cry for the president to step down is echoing from all corners of the country. It’s on the lips of stalwarts of the ANC, spoken from the heart of many women who pledged their lives to liberate the coun
